"Thanks for your superior artistic, organizational, and advisory talents. Girl, you know what you are doing!"
    -Carla Ecker, Associate Concertmaster
    Tucson Symphony Orchestra

Dr. Lindabeth Binkley began producing and presenting her own solo recitals in 2003.  It soon became clear that effectively self promoting and coordinating her own recital was a demanding and time consuming process.  Initially, production elements frequently distracted her from practicing (and making reeds!).  By 2005, however, Dr. Binkley successfully found a balance between self-promotion/production and performing as an oboe soloist.   She soon realized she had accumulated the resources and practical knowledge necessary to help her colleagues and other professional musicians produce their own recitals.  Tucson has a thriving arts community and is home to many talented musicians, many of whom are undiscovered simply because the non-musical details of giving a recital inhibit their desire to perform.  Dr. Binkley decided to offer her expertise to the musical community and herTake Note! Artist Management Service began in the fall of 2005.

Dr. Binkley’s freelance service offers complete production support to the performer, from securing a venue to designing programs and publicity.  Her attention to detail, artistic sensibility, and high level of service have helped many Tucson musicians achieve a more relaxed and artistically focused concert performance.  Her assistance has also encouraged more musicians to share their talents with audiences throughout the Southwest. In addition, Dr. Binkley has expanded her services to include coordinating workshops, master classes, studio recitals, and providing assistance with formatting application materials for college teaching jobs.
