Sunday, May 3, 2009 (7:00 PM): Jason Huo, first place winner of the 2009 Civic Orchestra of Tucson Concerto Competition, performs the first movement of the Mozart Oboe Concerto in C major, K. 314 with the COT at the Demeester Outdoor Performing Arts Center in Reid Park (admission is free). Saturday, May 16, 2009: Dr. Binkley performs Bach, Marais, Telemann, and Zelenka in the St. Andrew's Bach Society 2009 Benefit Concert, "Beautiful Baroque," at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Dr. Lindabeth Binkley, whose "adeptness at handling this irascible instrument is marvelous to experience," currently resides in Tucson, Arizona. Principal Oboist of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra since 1998, she enjoys a diverse musical career as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, teacher, and clinician. In addition, she is the Artistic Director of the St. Andrew's Bach Society Summer Concert Series affiliated with St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in downtown Tucson. Welcome to Dr. Binkley's website.
